(I had to do some heavy post processing on some of these photos which is why they look strange. They were taken in such white flat light that there was no depth to them and the snow just looked like overexposed white blob.)

Oh my goodness - I'm speechless. I will never complain about our northwest Ohio winters again.

Great shots. I love how you capture living in Kotzebue...and...

I am glad I didn't move to Kotzebue!!

that's just impressive. Kotz is smacking Bethel out of the park in terms of amounts of snow, though we seem to be on the same storm schedule as you guys a lot of the time.

I'm glad I'm stuck in Palmer...but maybe you should take a picture of my house so I can see what I have to look forward to once this 12th storm subsides... Ugh.

M-
I'm gonna try and go standby on 151. I'm ticketed for 152 but there is supposed to be another storm on the heels of this one...only not as bad, so I want to get off the spit while the going is good. It's a full flight tomorrow so there should be enuf room for me and Bree to squeeze on rev standby. I haven't even been past your house. I imagine bad. Bree and I went to work around 7:30pm to finish paperwork and the snow is crazy. Wait til you see. We are gonna need kayaks to get around in May. No way they are gonna move all this before then.

On a positive note, all who were lost have been found. Thank God.
