Ah, Cathy! A fellow New Englander - and Alaskan by choice! So, you're from the original Peyton Place (and old enough to remember what it was!) I was born in St. Albans, Vermont, but my family moved to Manchester NH when I was 7 and that's where I "grew up". Went to UNH and got my teaching degree, headed out west to Idaho and Wyoming and taught for 14 years before moving to Alaska, marrying, and raising a family. Have fun in NH and write when you get back! Take some pics of the milkweed for me if you can - and bonus points if you catch a monarch butterfly on one! GREAT pictures!
I'm a mom, I'm a daughter, I'm a sister, I'm a friend. I am an unapologetic child of the 80's. I'm a New Englander by birth, an Alaskan by choice, and this is my life above the Arctic Circle.
What is Your Alaska Status???
In My Bag
I use the Nikon D300, the Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8 AF-S VR and the 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 AF-S VR DX Lens

I LOVE your pictures from Alaska.
What a funky old place. Love the caribou skull collection on the rooftop.
These are fantastic shots, Cathy. Love the textures.
