Old Treadwell Mine, Douglas Island

.
Today I was able to meet up with my friend, Anji, who lives in Juneau. She took me over to the site of the old Treadwell Mine on Douglas Island so I could take some photos. It was a great stroll along the trails and some very interesting history.

I am amazed. I was with you..and what looked like unassuming photos turned into these fantastic shots! I had to ask if it was the same walk we were on. They are beautiful. Wish we coulda spent more time. Your right my turn in Kotzebue next. Safe trip home
