So, where do pumpkins come from in Kotzebue?CD
Don't forget to roast the seeds! Very very tasty. Just put em on a baking tray, drizzle with soy sauce and then roast them in a low oven.
Fabulous shot, Cathy. This one is a real keeper.
I took my pumpkins as baggage, and only ONE was bruised. Poor pumpkin, but I only paid seven bucks for him so I am a happy traveler! I hope you did not get yours from AC! Thieves. :)
I bought the pumpkin at Fred Meyer's in Anchorage and I carried it home on the jet. It fit under the seat in front of me. TSA was teasing me about it as I went through security. Lugging it around the airport was a pain in the ass....but now that I am MVP with Alaska Airlines I got to bump the security line and didn't have to wait in line for 20 minutes WOOHOO!
