Denali

.

Mt. McKinley in the background and I think Mt. Foraker in the foreground. Taken from the jet on the way to Anchorage.

A very good picture! I'm jealous, because I can never get that good of a shot!

WOW!! How happy are you to get those shots?! I am totally delighted with these pics! I saw Denali from the Parks highway a few times, and as a speck from Anchorage. I am jealous!

Amazing. Almost every time I've seen Denali, it's covered in clouds. Great pictures!

Amazing pictures! It was cloudy when I left Kotzebue in September so I missed it. Really jealous.

I was flying back from Barrow one winter and when I caught a glimpse of the mountain, it was stunning, like your shot. First sunlit thing I had seen in months. The pilot even circled the mountain twice - once clockwise, once counter - to give everyone a chance to get a good look at it.

Cathy,
You've gotta stop. I'm using up my entire hard drive with just you pictures. :-)

Wow. I didn't think that picture was real at first. The light is amazing.

You need to turn the top one into a postcard and the bottom one into one of those inspirational/motivational posters. Maybe... "Even in the darkest time, remember that the sun is still shining somewhere." or something like that.

Breath taking view of the Mountain! I hope you sell a lot of prints of it!
How persnickety she is during the summer when all of us tourists are there, yet here it is Fall and she shines so brightly!Thank you! Kathy
