Is it Cold?

I walked outside tonight and thought to myself "hey, it's kind of nice out. Not that cold." It was -4F. Cold is relative, especially when you live in an area where the temp can change 60 degrees in one direction or the other in 24 hours.

I always say that the long winter makes me appreciate the short summer even more.

Love you pictures, as usual. I guess you're right about everything being relative. I'll try not to complain next time the temps here drop to 40 degrees. :)

Awesome pictures. We've had rain for 24 hours now and if it had been 10 degrees colder we might have been snowed in. To me, that would have been wonderful.

Great pictures! I regret never getting to the OTZ area when I was living in the interior, dang.

I'll decline to make a snarky comment about the weather down here right now :)

Wow - beautiful photos - it's so nice to get this view of things up north. (Looks pretty darn cold!)

It is colder here in Anchorage too, about 4 degrees currently, and it's the first time my nose has froze inside and out.

I really appreciate your blog. Before I leave Alaska I would like to visit a town not on the road. Kotzebue might be it, thanks to you!
