Ha ha! This is really funny to me because we grew up with severed heads around.... deer head hanging off the bird feeder, moose skulls here and there. A few years ago we drove to Mom and Dad's and were greeted by a moose head sitting on the top of a fence post at the end of the driveway. I thought we were the only ones! When I first moved away from home (to Winnipeg) and looked up the piano tuner that used to visit our town, he couldn't remember tuning my piano there until I mentioned the deer head hanging off the bird feeder. I guess that stuck in his mind! Go figure!
Around here we hang them in the barn. PS I really love the pictures. It's a hard choice. Alaska versus the 35 grandkids. Somedays Alaska comes close to winning.

Around here it's not all that uncommon either - or people drying meat on their balconies.
I was just reading a recipe blog before I came to yours. I WAS hungry, but not anymore. LOL!

We see them around here too (South Dakota), but not with racks like those.
Oh yes, I did hear from The Joules! Thanks so much!
