The far north is fascinating, including what people do with the things they build there. I've been north of 60 degrees (Nahanni National Park, NWT) and it's a different world.
Thanx for your earlier visit! I invite your blog readers to see why Jenny Craig is a multi-millionaire on my WW-post this week. I gotta go do some sit-ups...
It is interesting that we all have different perceptions of the weather. Here in northern Michigan, some people are complaining about our temperatures dropping to the high forties and low fifties. At the same time, my wife is visiting her parents in Lake Havasu where they are looking forward to a cooler weekend - it will be down in the nineties!

Please please please tell me that isn't a oil pipeline. I am hoping they look a little sturdier than that!
Icy already? You're a sturdier sort than I am! Stay warm.
I complain when the temps here drop below 60 degrees Fahrenheit. You remind me what a whiner I am! :)
By the way, I loved the book Middlesex.
That's pretty cool! I guess we live at opposite ends of the spectrum!
I've got a friend in Alaska. I've got to get up there. Happy WW.
Happy WW! Is that Sarah Palin's pipeline?

Brrr that looks cold. It's still warm here, I'm not ready for the cold yet!

Winter is on its way, eh? I'm actually a bit jealous.
I refuse to comment on the grounds that y'all will come down here and beat the stuffing out of me.
Shiver. I'm one of those sissy Michigan folk, who loves Alaska . . . in the summer. :)
Icy? Already? Lovely. Just can't wait over here, though the Fall is definitely the most beautiful time of the year.
I like my cold weather, what can I say...
Thanks for dropping by!
