If that makes a bad mom, then we need to start a club. Connor's been running power equipment and doing electrical work competently since HE was about 10. He's also been driving about that long, and now, at "only" 15, it's difficult to keep him OFF the roads, since it is still officially illegal for him to do doing so. Some kids just "get it" and I think that's ok. So, go for it. Just don't let him lose an arm. THAT would be a bad mom!!
