Ok all you birders out there....are these two birds Common Snipe or Long-Billed Dowitchers>
I think this is a different kind of bird....but what is it?
It's hard for me to take photos of birds because this always happens.
I suppose I could leave her home but that wouldn't be any fun.

Hi there! I am a blogger new to Alaska. Im trying to make some blogger friends here as well.
I am having a hard time with the lonliness of moving so far away from all I love, but Alaska is growing on me.
Not sure type of bird, but your pics are wonderful.
I say commom wilson snipe, great on the grill :-)
Definitely not snipes. Our vote is long-billed dowitcher - pretty neat!
