When I was a kid I remember having field trips at the end of the school year to the Boston Museum of Science, Strawberry Banke in Portsmouth, and the New England Aquarium. Because of our isolation, field trips in Kotzebue have to utilize local activities. Last week I drove by the 3rd grade classes having their annual sliding field trip.
