Wow, the classroom looks absolutely huge! A friend who used to live in Kotz said the schools there were really good. I just went to the new 3-6 school here in Bethel and the rooms are nowhere near that big.
Rock this 4th grade year, smart boy! That is the grade I taught for the past ten years, until I recently switched to remedial. I LOVE teaching 3rd and 4th graders. Best aged kids I've ever taught. Have a great year, Uyaana (and tell Grandma to have a good year too!)
Hope his first day went well! Here in the Mat-Su my kids also went back...I've got a 10th grader, 9th grader and 5th grader. My youngest was the only one who was really excited to be heading back.
He's in the same grade as Rachel (my 2nd one) :-) We'll be starting in a few days ourselves...mine aren't thrilled either. LOL
ReplyDeleteMy first grader was HAPPY! And even happier that it starts at nine. Crap I tell you...crap.

ReplyDeleteThat IS a big classroom. Is it multi-grade or just 4th?
ReplyDeleteIt's just his 4th grade classroom. There are two other 4th grade classrooms as well.
ReplyDeleteFunny how similar most American elementary school class rooms look in the inside. My kids start school next week.

ReplyDeleteHow did he like his first 2 days?
ReplyDeleteLol..his look definitely says, "It can't already be time to go back to school...summer had just barely begun!"
