Getting Chilly

It's starting to get cold out. The ponds on the tundra are glazing over and there is some ice on the edges of the lagoon. At this rate it won't be long before we are hooking tomcod on new thin ice. I hear they got some snow in Fairbanks. No snow in Kotzebue yet.

I had some pics that I was going to post today but I can't seem to find my USB cord. I have a spare at work so maybe I can get them posted tomorrow.

Well I guess today's debate will take place as scheduled. As George Carlin said, "When you’re born, you get a ticket to the freak show. When you’re born in America, you get a front row seat."

Yesterdays Pics

Well, here arethe pics that I was trying to post yesterday. There have been studies done that say that the United States has dismally slow internet in comparision to other developed nations and that Alaska, in particular, is the worst. Kotzebue's internet is quite pathetic.

There was a beautiful sunset last night. These were taken at approximately 8:55pm.
